A Big Birthday Weekend

We had such a great weekend, now that everyone is finally feeling better (for the most part, Andrew's dealing with some back pain and we aren't sure what's causing it yet)!

Friday was A's birthday! We spent the afternoon shopping for mommy's birthday gift (makes sense right). But he got to hang at Grandma's house and he had a blast! We celebrated Friday night at home with the Meldrum's and chinese food, cookies for dessert and lot's of fun presents!

Saturday we had a friends birthday party to go to in the evening, A had so much fun with all of the kids! For 2 straight hours he was up and down the stairs and running around with the kids so by 5:30 he was exhausted! Andrew & I had a ton of stuff to do anyways at home to prepare for A's party so we left after cake & ice cream.

Sunday was the big party! We just invited family but I still feel all the little details matter :) This years party was a monster theme so with that came lots of color, googly eyes and lots of cuteness!

The day couldn't have been any better with the sun shining, the windows open, kids playing outside in t-shirts, it was perfect!

It was so fun to watch A open his gifts this year, he had such enthusiasm with his "ooooh"s and "wow"s!

Thank you to our wonderful family for the generous gifts and celebrating with us, it means so much!!
