Our sweet Kalli Ray turned 2!!! We had a great weekend celebrating! Saturday night we celebrated with friends and family at the other Plunkett's and Sunday we enjoyed a very cold day at the apple orchard with more family!!
Go Tiger's (ok, I know, a little late!)
While the Detroit Tiger's were in the series we had our first little party. Andrew had a lot of his craft beer drinking buddies over and I had 1 girlfriend and their son over but that was enough to make it a great night! A had a buddy to play with and they had a blast and Val and I enjoyed some tasty beers with the boys!

Special Visitors!
One Sunday afternoon Grandma, Miss Barb, Madelynn & Kalli all came over for a couple of hours! The kids had a blast together and it was a beautiful day!
Letter of the Week!
I decided to start doing a letter every week with Alexander and have a ton of art projects, food to make, games to play, etc. with each letter.
'A' Week
We started 2 weeks ago with the letter 'A' and did a lot with 'A'pples and 'A'lligators.
I found these really cute letter coloring sheets online here.
We built a river with 'A'luminum foil...
We made 'A'pple pies that you baked the pie in the apple skin.
I forgot to take a picture when they were done but you can get the recipe and see more photos here! They were super easy to make and really yummy!!!
We also did 'A'pple stamping but he had more fun playing with the paint than using the apples, oh well.
Sorry for all the nudity, this is how he is about 90% of the time, working on potty training!
'P' Week
This past week we worked with 'P'umpkins, 'P'andas, 'P'opcorn, 'P'aint, 'P'laydough
This was the best popcorn EVER! Homemade caramel corn! Find recipe here, very easy!
He hated the insides!
This was more his style. Again, naked!
We didn't bother carving, we drilled, much easier and A wasn't interested anyways.
Last weekend we got to spend the night out on Harsen's Island with the Heath's and my friend Megan (1 person shy of our Zoo-de-Mack group) joined us for a night out to the Schoolhouse Restaurant & Bar. Thanks to Val's cousin we were able to leave the monsters back at the house and enjoy a few hours to ourselves! The boys have so much fun together as long as they aren't arguing over a choo-choo train, they are both obsessed!
