Wanting Just 1 More Visit

This Thanksgiving was a difficult time for our family. The weekend before we lost a wonderful person, my Aunt Jorene, my dad's only sister. She was a caring, loving person who felt she lived the best life a person could ask for all while fighting rheumatoid arthritis. She was a brave & positive woman.

It really bothers me that I couldn't find more time in my life to spend time with her and for Alexander to get to know her.

We spent Thanksgiving thinking about her and the family and it was ironic that Thanksgiving used to be the holiday we always spent with them but hadn't in several years, times had changed and so did our traditions.
